FAQ

Top 5 questions from designers

QHow long and how much to become a Green Designer?
The full training is 6 sessions / 24 hours. Once you pass the assessment, you receive the GD Green Designer qualification. See the enrollment page for pricing; early-bird and group discounts are available.
QHow is GD different from other green-building labels?
GD focuses on the "post-renovation" indoor health (formaldehyde, TVOC, PM2.5, and 35+ more). It complements Taiwan’s EEWH label (which focuses on building-scale energy) — the two can be applied for together.
QWhat is the certification timeline for a project?
A typical project takes 4–6 weeks: document review 1–2 weeks → on-site testing 1–2 weeks → label authorization 1 week. Expedited plans are available on request.
QHow can designers help clients apply for GD?
Once qualified, you can file applications on the client’s behalf, prepare material documentation, and accompany on-site testing. The system provides a full online application & tracking dashboard.
QAre there prerequisites? Is online learning available?
No hard prerequisites — designers, architects, and environment-related professionals may enroll. In-person courses run in Taipei metro and Taichung; selected theory modules can be taken via livestream + recording.
